Engel's Paradise, a quaint Polish restaurant nestled at 37c Cannon St in Deal, is a culinary haven celebrated for its authentic home-cooked dishes. Regulars rave about the warm, welcoming atmosphere created by owners Slava and Andrew, who treat guests like family. Diners often highlight the Chicken Breast Casserole and the beloved Pierogi, noting the generous portions and delightful flavors that showcase traditional Polish cuisine. Customers express their admiration for the fresh ingredients and passion evident in every meal. Jade Caroline's experience encapsulates the charm of Engel's Paradise as her child joyfully exclaimed about the Pierogi, a dish praised by many. Peter Badham echoes this sentiment, emphasizing the delightful offerings and the remarkable value for money. The cozy interior pairs well with a garden out back, making it an ideal spot for families and friends alike. The restaurant has earned its reputation as a hidden gem, with patrons feeling as though they’re dining at a friend’s home rather than in a conventional restaurant. As Dawid Orlowski noted, the caring attention from the owners enhances the dining experience, making Engel's Paradise a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Polish fare in a friendly, inviting setting.

Really special meal here with my husband and our three year old. The couple who run it are so welcoming and have created something very special. Their home cooked Polish food is absolutely incredible - my three year old shouted ‘I love Pierogi’ at one point during our meal! Highly recommend and we can’t can’t wait to come back.

I've been here several times now over the last couple of years. Slava and her husband are really lovely. She is more front off house and I guess he cooks, but I think she makes most of the cakes, although I may be wrong. It looks tiny from the outside but has a garden out back. The food is really delicious, and wear a belt that you can unfasten as the portions are generous and the price is very good for what you get. You can tell everything is really fresh, as Slava will tell you how many of each item she has, and I love that. Polish people travel far to go there for traditional dishes so that is always a good sign. If you like alcohol with your meal you can bring your own and pay a cork charge. I would highly recommend and leave you with a couple of photos from my Sunday lunch Tried the all day breakfast today (04/09/24) amazing. Filling and really tasty, I don't know how they can do it for 6.50

We have been here so many times and each time it is a great experience! We always say “It’s the best Polish bistro in town”. The value is amazing, food so good (try the vegetarian pierogi) and Slava and Andrew are great hosts. There’s so many regulars and a really friendly atmosphere.

Engel’s Paradise is a true hidden gem, offering incredible, authentic Polish cuisine. From the first bite, you can tell the food is made with love and passion by people who genuinely care. Dining here feels more like visiting friends for a homemade dinner than going to a typical restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the owners are wonderfully attentive and caring, making the whole experience unforgettable. It’s tucked away a bit off the center of Deal, but just a short walk from the seafront. Highly recommended!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Polish restaurant, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, made from exceptionally fresh ingredients, which was evident in every bite. The flavors were well-balanced, and the dishes were prepared with great attention to detail. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating a cozy and pleasant dining experience. The interior design added to the charm, making it a perfect place for a relaxed meal. The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our visit. Overall, this restaurant offers high-quality Polish cuisine in a delightful setting. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience with authentic flavors and a friendly ambiance.

We enjoyed a lovely homemade meal with friends. The service was friendly, and the owner knowledgeable. The main course, klopsiki (meatballs), was some of the best Polish meatballs I’ve ever had. My partner enjoyed the schabowy (Polish pork schnitzel), and our friends loved the Hunter's Stew. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and would highly recommend Engel's Paradise. As there’s no drinks licence currently, it’s BYOB with a corkage fee. Don’t be in a hurry—everything is cooked fresh from scratch.
